Organizing your pantry! Plus, free food label printables!

Written by Lyndi. Posted in Free Printables, Graphic Design

I am the happiest girl when things are clean and organized around me.  Of course, being a single working mom of four kids doesn't really leave me any extra time to organize.  I decided to make this pantry of mine a priority and I wanted to share my ideas with you. Organization + Food + Matching Glass Jars = Lyndi's happy place!

I wanted a very classy, fun look but I also needed my pantry to be functional.  I bought these glass jars from Walmart and Target and it helped with my problem of all the random chip, cookie, and crackers bags that get stuffed to the back of my pantry and I end up forgetting that I even have them.  Plus, it makes it pretty!!

I also displayed all of my white dishes in my pantry.  It gave it a beautiful look and it will be nice to have easy access to them.

I created labels for all of my cooking ingredients to finalize the look.  I also created some fun kitchen quotes and framed and hung them in my pantry.

You can download the labels and kitchen quotes for free below.  The labels you can print on an 8.5x11 size page.  I suggest either printing them on photo paper or lamentating them.  Enjoy!!

first day of school signsI am so in love with these two preschoolers! Lucy finally (by the skin of her teeth) gets to go to preschool this year with her big sis and she is beyond excited!! Although it was very difficult to have 3 kids in 3 years I absolutely love their closeness in age now! It sure makes things fun, crazy and our days full of girly screams (especially Max).

10 Rules for ULTIMATE happiness

Written by Lyndi. Posted in About Me, Free Printables, Graphic Design, Health & Wellness, Life Coaching

I have experienced several challenges this past year, but in the end I have grown and become a much stronger person because of them.  I feel peace, have great determination and a sense of confidence in my unknown future.  I am very excited about 2014!!

I am beginning this new year with a renewed sense of what is truly important in life.  I try to live my life very simply.  I definitely make mistakes on a daily basis, but these 10 rules are what I base my life upon...and when I do, I feel complete contentment.

I wish love and happiness in each of your lives this new year and I know that if  you can follow these 10 rules, EVERYTHING else in your life will fall into place.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Love, Lyndi

*UPDATED* I need to clarify my reasoning for number five on my list.  When I say "Give Guilt the Bird", I mean you shouldn't let other people's ideas and opinions determine how you live your life.  Make choices based on what you feel is right and what is good for YOU!  Don't worry about what others think and don't let them have control over your life.  There is definitely a time and a place to feel regret and guilt when you have done something wrong...but when this happens, don't be hard on yourself.  It is the perfect learning opportunity to know that you should change that behavior so you don't feel that way again.
